I broke down and got this one on sale, it’s compact, simple to turn down voice, it may be employed by a passenger whether or not the auto is moving, intuitive menus and the most useful is the road limit as it is so simple to be in a peculiar place and not know the rate limits and drive into a speed trap. This however isn’t a replacement for common-sense when on a trip, because infrequently maps could be 1 or 2 yards off ESP in districts and near bodies of water but this is only as much use as the surveyors that mapped out the area.

If you get detoured off your route it’ll recover you inside a pair seconds, which is convenient if you get detoured in an enormous town. It’s been so reliable and am so satisfied I got another garmin. Since this has the lifetime maps I am hoping to have it for 1 or 2 years.

Garmin is named one of the top brand for gps devices, after using it for couple years, I can realize why they stay on the head of the list to this date. The germins control panel is terribly user-friendly and simple to navigate with virtually no load time. A huge touch sensitive screen display makes it easy-to-read at only a peek. Device follows realtime location correctly with extraordinarily almost no delay. Lifetime map update is a great addition and worth the buy for exactly that.

I am totally happy with this unit and it’s hugely superior to all of the other GPS units I have owned. It’s especially simple to update for someone that isn’t extremely PC savvy and has all of the features of the costly GPS’s without the opening cost. I am so satisfied with the price, shipping, straightforwardness of operation as well as simplicity of updating ( for an end user ) that I am about to order another one!

It’s a great deal!

So far, so good! Straightforward enough to use and large enough to see. there were points where the screen “street” would vanish but that’s no major deal. I used it to go in the Bald Eagle State Forest in Pennsylvania and it found each road without exception. Ensure you register for the updates! T makes me think about the 1200, but the 1300 has a bigger screen, and this model has lifetime map updates. It also shows bistros and gas stations as well as other attractions on the map without being distracting.
